Scope
This policy covers the public Tradia website at tradia.store. The Tradia product itself is in development and will publish a separate product privacy notice before beta access opens.
Information we collect
- Waitlist details. When you join the waitlist, we collect the information you submit, typically your email address and any context you choose to share about your business.
- Email enquiries. If you write to us, we keep the email and any attachments so we can reply and have a record of the conversation.
- Basic usage data. Like most sites, our servers and analytics tools record things like your IP address, browser, device type, referrer, and which pages you viewed. We use this in aggregate to understand traffic and improve the site.
How we use it
- To respond to you and keep you informed about the Tradia beta.
- To prioritise merchants for beta access and decide where to focus next.
- To measure traffic, debug problems, and improve the site.
- To protect against abuse, fraud, and security incidents.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site and our communications, for example hosting, email delivery, and analytics. These providers process information on our behalf under contract.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users, or in connection with a corporate transaction (for example, a sale or merger).
Where it's stored
Information may be processed in Nigeria or in other countries where our service providers operate. Where personal data leaves Nigeria, we rely on appropriate safeguards required by applicable law, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist and contact details for as long as your interest in Tradia is active, or until you ask us to delete them. Aggregated analytics may be kept longer.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, to restrict or object to processing, or to receive a copy of your data in a portable format. Email team@tradia.store and we'll respond within a reasonable time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

The Tradia site is not directed at children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. We'll change the "last updated" date above and, for material changes, give notice on the site or by email.
