The roadmap

Four phases. One ecosystem.

We build Tradia step by step, and each step sets up the next. The foundation first, then live shopping, then the financial tools, then the rest of the continent.

Phase 1
Q3 2026 · Foundation
In flight

The launch.

Foundation first. Before anything fancy, the basics have to work: a store that loads, a checkout that converts, delivery that actually delivers, accurate stock, and a dashboard you can run a business from. Phase 1 is the platform that makes everything after it possible.

What ships

  • Storefront Builder with custom domains and mobile-first templates
  • Payments and checkout: card, transfer, USSD, virtual transfer
  • Delivery through FEZ with live tracking and escrow
  • Inventory and orders: one stock count across every channel
  • An analytics dashboard you'll actually use
  • TradiaOne accounts with basic loyalty
  • Admin console and merchant onboarding

Dependencies

This is the foundation. Nothing else ships without it.

Phase 2
Q4 2026 · Live Commerce

Live goes live.

Once the foundation has plenty of merchants and the system is solid, Live Shopping goes live. It's what makes us different, the thing most other platforms still treat as a separate app. By Phase 2 we have the inventory, the checkout, and the tracking to make it work from start to finish inside one system.

What ships

  • Native Live Shopping app with in-stream cart
  • Video that adapts to the connection, audio-only fallback, replays with the cart
  • A creator and affiliate programme with tracked links
  • More loyalty and rewards built on TradiaOne
  • Geographic expansion: Abuja, Port Harcourt, Ibadan

Dependencies

Needs Phase 1's inventory, payments, and accounts to be live.

Phase 3
Q1–Q3 2027 · Financial Layer

The financial home.

The financial layer. Wallets, payouts, cards, and Buy Now, Pay Later turn Tradia from a commerce platform into a financial home. The AI Merchant Sidekick arrives here too, trained on the selling data the first two phases produce.

What ships

  • Wallets and instant payouts
  • Virtual and physical cards
  • Buy Now, Pay Later, backed by Tradia
  • AI Merchant Sidekick: descriptions, promotions, customer replies
  • Shopping by typing in plain language

Dependencies

Needs enough transactions from Phases 1 and 2 to back the financial products.

Phase 4
2028+ · Africa & Beyond

The continent.

Africa and beyond. A platform built for the hardest market travels well to easier ones: first the diaspora, then nearby markets. M-Pesa in Kenya, merchants in Ghana, and in time one commerce platform for the whole continent.

What ships

  • Ghana and the diaspora
  • Kenya via M-Pesa integration
  • One commerce platform for Africa
  • An $80B+ market by 2030

Dependencies

Depends on Tradia being the default for commerce in Nigeria.

Why this order

Each phase earns the next one.

Live Shopping needs inventory and payments to be rock-solid before you put real money and big crowds on top. Wallets and Buy Now, Pay Later need a track record of transactions to work. Expanding needs a strong home market first. The order isn't a marketing story, it's simply what each part depends on.

Beta opens in Phase 1.

The first beta is limited to 500 Nigerian merchants. Join the waitlist to be considered.
